Turkish Get-Up Breakdown
INSTRUCTIONS: Do 3 rounds.
One round = Turkish Get-Up (TGU) Breakdown on the RIGHT followed by Around the Clock Squats (ACS), TGU Breakdown on the LEFT followed by ACS.
This workout utilizes three distinct movements from the Turkish Get-Up. Get-ups are usually done using a kettlebell and can be done using a dumbbell, barbell, and even a person! It is a full-body strength exercise that works on shoulder stability and core strength (especially when done with a heavy weight), as well as shoulder and hip mobility.
This WOW pairs the Get-Up with Around the Clock Squats giving you a full-body strength and conditioning workout!
