We’re well into winter (even if it doesn’t feel like it some days).
It’s still dark first thing in the morning and still cold (and dark) at night, so you might not always feel like getting out (or coming back out) to come to a training session.
When I’m feeling the #winterworkoutblahs (I think I just created a new hashtag) I definitely need a goal – a very specific goal that I can focus on to keep me engaged and compliant with my program.
So, I’m going to assume that you’re like me, and that you need something to keep you on your game during the two months of winter that we have left. For the next eight weeks we’re going to do a strength cycle in all of our Strength Camp classes (PT clients, you can join in on the fun too. Just talk to your trainer). We’re also going to do accessory movements (they’re like a cute pair of earrings and a scarf, but better) to enhance our main strength exercises.
I’ll stop boring you with a bunch of written text, and instead encourage you to click on the incredibly entertaining video below to get all the details on our strength cycle. [full disclosure: the video’s not that entertaining, but it’s really short]
We start the Winter Strength Cycle on Tuesday, the 31st.
