12 Minute Core Circuit

The WOW, or Workout of the Week, is a short workout that you can do on your own as an add-on to your training. These workouts are designed to be mostly equipment free (so you can do them anywhere) and of medium to high intensity. Modify as needed depending on your fitness level and intensity needs.

A strong core is always in season. I’m not talking about “building your summer body in the winter”, but about strengthening a muscle group that has a role in almost every movement we do. After all, your winter body is going to have to shovel some snow sooner or later, and having strong functional core muscles will be a back saver.

You can do this workout anywhere – no equipment required.

You’ll do 1:00 of each exercise. After you complete all five exercises go back to the top and repeat one more time.

  • Alternating Toe Touches
  • Body Saws
  • Archer Roll Backs
  • Plank w/ Leg Lift
  • Hollow Hold (Full or Modified)
