The WOW, or Workout of the Week, is a short workout that you can do on your own as an add-on to your training. These workouts are designed to be mostly equipment free (so you can do them anywhere) and of medium to high intensity. Modify as needed depending on your fitness level and intensity needs.
Coach Brett put together a sweet cardio and core circuit for you for this week’s WOW.
You’ll focus on getting in more work for each round during the first two exercises by trying to increase your reps each round. During the last exercise you’ll focus on core strength and stabilization.
Here’s the workout:
- :60 Squat Thrusts
- :60 Jump Squats
- :60 Shoulder Taps
Do all three exercises (remember to increase reps for the first two exercises) for three rounds. Make sure to rest for 30 seconds at the bottom of each round.
