Cardio Circuit

The WOW, or Workout of the Week, is a short workout that you can do on your own as an add-on to your training. These workouts are designed to be mostly equipment free (so you can do them anywhere) and of medium to high intensity. Modify as needed depending on your fitness level and intensity needs.

Quickness and Agility are the name of the game in today’s cardio circuit from Brett.

I’m neither quick nor agile, but these are important skills for us all to work on, even if your version of “quick” and “agile” is slightly slow and awkward like mine. In the end the most important thing in this workout is to keep it movin’ and get in your cardio.

You’ll do three rounds of this circuit. The first round will be for 45 seconds per exercise, the second for 30 seconds, and the final round for 45 seconds again.

Here are the exercises:

  • 180 Degree Squat Jumps
  • Plank Vaults
  • Running Skater Jumps
  • Mt. Climbers

Try to get through the round without rest and then take a 30 second to two minute break between rounds.
