The WOW, or Workout of the Week, is a short workout that you can do on your own as an add-on to your training. These workouts are designed to be mostly equipment free (so you can do them anywhere) and of medium to high intensity. Modify as needed depending on your fitness level and intensity needs.
Not only will this cardio workout make you sweat, but you’ll have a huge sense of accomplishment once you complete it. Pyramid style workouts are challenging, but I know you can do this one.
Here are the exercises:
- Squat Thrust
- Jump Squat
- Walkout (10 each round)
- Split Squat (ea. side)
You’ll go down in reps and then back up for all of the exercises except the Walkouts. Those will stay at 10 reps per round.
Here’s the rep sequence: 15-10-5-10-15
Go through all the exercises for 15 reps each (except the Walkout which you’ll do for 10), then do the round of 10. Continue to work your way down and then work back up.
